Please support us today with a donation to our annual appeal!

The Friends of Minute Man National Park exists to support the park’s mission to preserve our heritage, educate our youth and prepare future generations to appreciate the importance of the events of April 19, 1775.

This past year, your support has helped us to:
• Assist the park after the federal government shutdown by hiring visitor services staff needed due to seasonal hiring delays.
• Support hundreds of reenactors and welcome thousands of visitors who participated in Patriot’s Day events.
• Celebrate the park’s 60th anniversary by co-sponsoring a lecture and concert.
• Support the park’s partnership with Walden Woods’ BioBlitz event.
• Provide resources for the ongoing maintenance of the historic Buttrick Gardens.

Our park is an amazing resource that needs to be both cherished and preserved. But in recent years, maintaining the park has become more challenging. While visitation numbers are up, park staffing resources are down.

Too many people assume that, as part of the federal government, the park will always be adequately resourced. This has not been the case. The park currently has 10 less full-time positions than it had a decade ago.

In short, organizations like ours are becoming more critical to enabling the park to fulfill its important mission.

Your help is needed now more than ever. Please give as generously as possible – $50, $100, $250 or more today. The Friends of Minute Man National Park is a 501(c)(3) independent non-profit organization and you will receive a receipt acknowledging your contribution for tax purposes.

We thank you for your ongoing support and wish you and your family a wonderful holiday season ahead.

Sincerely,

Bob Morris
President
