The colorful leaves of fall have left our sights, but the memories of an exciting fall season are still in our hearts and minds!
This fall, Minute Man National Historical Park and the Friends of Minute Man hosted a series of events and programs where visitors learned about and experienced the historical events and context of the fall of 1774 – a few fateful months before the start of the American Revolution in April 1775.
We hope you enjoyed these special events such as “Behold, The Guns Were Gone!” The 250th anniversary and commemoration of stolen cannon and political turmoil in September 1774; Preparing for Winter, Preparing for War; Park Day; and, of course, the Halloween events at the Wayside and Hartwell Tavern!
These programs engaged thousands of park visitors with a beautiful backdrop of fall color. But get ready for 2025 – spring Patriots’ Day events are right around the corner!
