Winter/Spring 2022 Internship

Do you like history and nature? Do you want to learn more about how small non-profits are operated? Then join us for a spring semester internship at the Friends of Minute Man National Park! We are looking for a Masters-level student to work directly with the executive director on our spring appeal cycle including list preparation, logging donations, and managing acknowledgments. Interns will also be responsible for writing blog entries, social media posts, and email newsletter articles. Students will learn about non-profit board interactions, donor management software, how to manage a fundraising appeal, and best practices for outreach.

Students from a variety of backgrounds are encouraged to apply including non-profit MBA, history, preservation, environmental science, marketing, fundraising, etc. Applicants should possess strong writing and computer skills.

This paid internship will include 60 hours at $15/hr (more hours are available if your schedule and program allow). The internship will be a hybrid of remote and in-person work at Minute Man National Historical Park; masks are currently required inside all park buildings. Free parking is available.

Minute Man National Historical Park is the birthplace of the American Revolution and the location of the “shot heard round the world” on April 19, 1775. Make a difference at Minute Man by joining our team.
