The “shot heard round the world” is now on exhibit at Minute Man National Historical Park. This new display showcases the musket balls recently discovered near the North Bridge. These musket balls were fired by provincial militia toward British soldiers gathered on the opposite side of the bridge on April 19, 1775.
We invite you to stop by and experience these extraordinary artifacts up close. Special thanks to Eastern National for funding this display, which is open daily at the North Bridge Visitor Center from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Photo by John Collins Photography.
