Concord CPC Visits Buttrick Garden

Thanks to the Concord Community Preservation Committee (CPC) for visiting the Buttrick Gardens on a recent fall afternoon. The Friends of Minute Man National Park have submitted a grant to the Concord CPC to rehabilitate and preserve the hardscape of the Buttrick Gardens to improve accessibility and the condition of the gardens.

The Buttrick house and gardens date back to 1911 and are listed on the National Register and are part of the Concord North Bridge/Monument Street Historic District. The Buttrick house now serves as the North Bridge Visitor Center for the Minute Man National Historical Park and the Sunken Garden provides a spectacular view of the North Bridge.
