Dressed for Success

We have some talented tailors at Minute Man! Ranger Tseyang’s new suit of 18th-century clothing was ready for public debut this month.

Staff and volunteers in the Park’s Historical Clothing Workshop made wool breeches, a waistcoat, and a coat to her measurements. The coat features “death head” thread-covered buttons, see above. Every garment is crafted by hand to meet the highest standards of historical accuracy. This level of authenticity allows our staff, seasonal rangers, and interns to bring the past vividly to life for visitors.

With the help of supporters like you, the Friends of Minute Man is proud to supply the Park’s workshop with historically appropriate patterns, fabric, and notions.
