- Ask a Ranger with Jim Hollister (Facebook Live Videos) Email your questions about the start of the American Revolution and the Battles of Lexington and Concord to [email protected]. Fridays at 10:00 am through May 2020.
- “Paul Revere’s Ride” Poetry Reading (Video). Featuring park rangers on site at Minute Man, Boston, and Longfellow House as well as David Wood, Curator at Concord Museum, and other local historians. Produced with Minuteman Media Network.
- Patriot Vigil (Video). The Patriot Vigil commemorates those who fell on the “ever memorable” 19th of April, 1775. This year, the Patriot Vigil has been recreated as a video featuring dramatic renditions of the first hand accounts. Produced with Minuteman Media Network.
- Patriot Vigil at Home (Facebook Post). Don’t worry if you didn’t light a candle on the evening of Sunday, April 19th, we lit one for you!
- Two Towns and the Start of the American Revolution: Part 1 with local historian Alex Cain (Video), author of “We Stood Our Ground: Lexington in the First Year of the American Revolution.”
- Two Towns and the Start of the American Revolution: Part 2 with local historian JL Bell (Video), author of “The Road to Concord: How Four Stolen Cannon Ignited the Revolutionary War.”
- Discovering Lexington’s Lost Battlefield (Video). Jim Hollister interviews historian Joel Bohy and archaeologist, Dr. Meg Wilkes covering the exciting and eye-opening Parker’s Revenge Archaeology Project, and how they, with a team of volunteers and professionals discovered Lexington’s lost battlefield.
- For Lego Fans! (Facebook Post) National Park Service Lego Vignettes honored the work of our rangers who worked tirelessly to bring us a Virtual Patriots Day! They did a great job of capturing Park Ranger Jim Hollister in action.

Patriots’ Day commemorates the battles at Lexington and Concord that occurred on April 19, 1775. These battles marked the beginning of the American Revolution and Minute Man National Historical Park is dedicated to protecting and preserving the sites, battlefields, structures, and landscapes associated with April 19, 1775.
Patriots’ Day activities at the Park run for several weeks and are free to the public. Each year thousands of visitors come to enjoy the battle demonstrations, living history, guided walks, vigils, and educational events available at the Park. The Friends of the Minute Man National Park is committed to helping to defray the significant costs related to these activities.
