Introduction to Minute Man Soldier Search
On April 19th, 1775 almost 4,000 men from communities across Massachusetts left behind their families to respond to the alarm and participate in the fight against the British Regulars. The Minute Man Soldier Search includes the names of militiamen, companies, and towns that participated in the opening battles of the Revolution on April 19, 1775. This interactive database is a great place to start your Revolutionary War and genealogical research.
Minute Man Soldier Search is hosted by the Friends of Minute Man National Park, constructed by dedicated volunteers, and made possible through generous donations by the Massachusetts Society of the Cincinnati and the Lincoln Minute Men.
Please start your search in the database above or click on the links below for more information.
